Egan Reid was looking to strengthen their position in the office furniture market by producing their own furniture guide, a new large page count publication featuring a wide range of office furniture. The brief was to create a publication which effectively showcases hundreds of products as well as promote Egan Reid’s wide range of furniture based services. In regards to design, Egan Reid wanted a sophisticated, clean and modern aesthetic. A design approach which sat comfortably with the contemporary products on show. This was achieved with a minimal use of colours, thin lines, light fonts and simple clear page layouts. The use of diagonal lines adds an interesting element to the pages and a consistent through-line. Focal Creative handled all creative aspects of the project working closely with Egan Reid’s furniture department who provided page briefing, product data and page proofing.
